What are the most common installations of the 110v/60hz electromagnetic vibrator from The Cleveland Vibrator Company?

  1. Vibratory bowl feeders to vibrate and align small parts to help with orientation of material when moving across bowl track
  2. Light duty processing equipment to aid in metered material flow additive or handling processes
  3. Light duty compaction tables for lab testing and small batch production

What are your controller options for an 110v/60hz electromagnetic vibrator?

When installing these electromagnetic vibrator units, you can control them in three ways:

  1. On/off switch – This switch is attached to a power cord and plugged straight into 110v outlet. This option keeps the force generated and frequency constant during operation.
  2. VIC (Variable Intensity Controller) – This option provides 0-10 turn wire wound potentiometer within the NEMA 4/4x control box to give the operator control of the vibration intensity. When utilizing the VIC, the frequency stays constant throughout the operational cycle.
  3. VAF (Variable Amplitude and Frequency Controller) – This option is the best of both worlds because vibration intensity (amplitude) and the frequency of the vibrations are independently controllable. This option is highlighted in detail in the video below.

Lastly, what are your equipment options for electromagnetic vibrators?

We have a few different equipment options that utilize an electromagnetic vibrator.

  1. The Vibratory Jogger (VJ) – Available in two sizes: 12″ x 12″ (VJ-1212) decks and 15″ x 15″ (VJ-1515) decks. We design these units for lab testing and small batch production for compaction and settling needs.
  2. Vibratory Feeders and Vibratory Hopper-Feeders – We install the electromagnetic vibrator underneath the feeder trays to power the vibration. When applying the unit to a vibratory hopper feeder, install the electromagnetic vibrator on the supply hopper above the feeder tray. The vibrator on the supply hopper is there to help move the material at a consistent rate to the feeder tray.
